  If I could give no stars I would , this is another cooperation that doesn’t have everyday folks interest at heart , they ain’t for the people it’s a simple marketing stunt . They won’t accept my application off of a false narrative . AVOID

  Never had a car on finance before and Burnley savings and loans were offered as a provider. I've had my car 2 years so far and any issues they have been happy to help with. Customer service is straight to the point and helpful if help is needed.I can't understand how they could be to blame for the quality of the car as the garage that sells them is accountable for that. I've only had one issue with mine and when contacted they offered to pay half towards it as it wasn't covered in warranty.Excellent service and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for finance.

  I took out a loan of £2,000 against my Vehicle, initially they were polite and helpful and easy to deal with. I then fell into difficulty financially. I have had previous experience with many PayDay loans and lenders. Payday loans and lenders are very inconsiderate as they constantly harass customers and make there life miserable if you are struggling with repayments.BS&L are without doubt worse than any payday lender I have ever dealt with. I can recall a time when I was struggling and phoned BS&L to explain the issues and ask for an extension, they said my vehicle would be repossessed and that there was nothing they can do. Several days passed and a debt collector turned up at my door with his recovery truck, he was VERY rude & intimidating. He explained I would have to pay X amount to stop him taking the vehicle. I had just been paid that day and said I would go draw the money out, he would not let me go in my car and insisted he drove me to the cash machine whilst I drew the money out.Several weeks passed and I had caught up with the arrears. One afternoon whilst I was sat in my car on my lunch at work, the debt collector knocked on my window and said I had not been keeping up with payments and he was going to remove my vehicle. Turns out BS&L had not informed the debt collector I was up to date, I called BS&L whilst he was there and got it sorted. However having that happen at work understandably made me a nervous & emotional wreck. After that I got back on top of things and kept up with payments. In 2017 I was in a position to give up the vehicle as I had a company car. I was informed by BS&L to drop it off at the auctions. They did not wipe the debt because I surrendered the car, instead they knocked off just over £200.I also requested a breakdown of what I had paid to BS&L and compared them to my bank statements and I spotted two transactions they had 'missed' off.Up until last month I had £500.06 left to pay, I phoned BS&L and asked if we could do a settlement figure as I had paid over £3,300 for a £2,000. They rejected it straight away and said they can not knock a penny off because there system would not a allow it.I have paid settled everything now and I have paid nearly £4,000 plus surrendered my car for an initial £2,000 loan against the vehicle. Without a doubt the worst company I have ever borrowed from, harassing emails, calls, letters as well as the thug they use to seize vehicles.There is definitely a sense of irony in all this, BS&L's owner David Fishwick created TV documentaries about how bad Payday lenders are for harassment and then managed to create a company worse than any of the payday lenders.
