  Linked finance recently changed it's terms and conditions to be less investor friendly. They charge 1.2% for cash not invested so you are being charged a fee for on deposit cash. No bank in the country is charging negative interest to retail depositors so this is totally out of step with norms. They also charge €5 to withdraw less than €250. Both of these fees came in in 2021. The issue I have is I put my money into linked finance years ago before these extra charges and now I can't get it out. They are not regulated by the Central Bank so can literally do whatever they want with regards changing terms after people put money in. All I can do now is get my money out as soon as I can but these fees are totally unavoidable. Also loads of their loans are not being paid at the moment and they are not even bothering to put up the latest situation. One is 3 months overdue and the last update was January. They treat the people that have actually lent the money like rubbish.

  As a UK investor, I have been dealing with Linked Finance for just over 2 years and I have found it to be the best P2P that I am invested in by far. It provides very decent interest rates with a very low default rate on loans made...none so far, in my case. It has a very clear simple website which is very easy to follow. I'd highly recommend it for investment.

  Twice withdrawals took nearly over a month and constant chasing. Aside from that new charges coming are so disappointing. You can only withdraw free of charge once a month with minimum withdrawal balance allowed €250 , but any cash balance on your account over €50 in any month charged 1.25% fee, so you'll end up paying 1.25% on any cash balance over €50 on your account on top of 1% monthly mgt fee already charged by Linked Finance. Oh yeah unless you have invested in a loan in last 3 months every 3 months then no charge, basically no way to circumvent charges and take cash from repayments when you need it. Feels nearly as bad as a bank!Other factors of concern is the multiple loan tranches to same businesses. There seems to be push for loan volume to get to profitability, be interesting to see impact on loan book performance once it reaches maturity. Stats and interface are good and they provide figures for overall performance which is better than a lot of other peer to peer platforms.
