  they tried to con us out of jewelry we had in there. after taking my wife's driving licence when she went to collect the jewelry they told her should would need the original receipt ( we had 2 different receipts) or contact a lawyer.i checked this online and the only way they should have mentioned getting a lawyer is if they didn't believe she was the same personthe shop person even said to my wife it was her that served her.my wife went back down with the information and they finally gave her the item.don't trust this place.

  I am very disappointed and would never use money shop again as I have paid them back and sent bank statements of proof payment and they have messed me about making me call head office to update statements on my account but it has been almost 4 months and they have still not updated my records which has caused alot of inconvenience as i was trying to lend and it is bad that they says its paid and then another says we still have not resolved this and got statements ? as I have been in to the hamilton branch twice and left my statements proof of payment ,I would not recommend money shop as they will not give a loan and also if you have a loan and have paid they will say its not paid very poor service and experience with the money shop , its not the hamilton store fault but its certainley head office that need to be trained well to deal with customers and how to there job.
